This simple side is a family favorite. It's a great side for the Holidays or anytime! My daughter says it tastes like candy. Don't tell her there's no sugar!

Ingredients:

  • Acorn Squash
  • Olive Oil
  • Sugar Bob's Smoked Maple Syrup

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut the squash in half and scoop out the seeds. Cut the squash into wedges. Toss in a small amount of olive oil. Roast the squash for 10 minutes. Remove and brush with sugar bob's smoked maple syrup. Put it back in the oven and roast another 5-10 minutes until the edges are nicely browned and the maple syrup is bubbling around the bottom. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with salt and let cool on the baking sheet for 10-15 minutes before serving.
